building a better future for the next generation of female leaders

WOMEN

WORK

Growing up, my dream was to work in entertainment, telling stories that touched people, created empathy and connected communities. Living in small-town USA, with no industry connections, I hit wall after wall trying to gain to access the entertainment industry. I would have given anything for 5 minutes with an industry professional for advice. While earning my Bachelors in Multimedia Journalism and Mass Communication, I studied the art of asking questions and started networking from the ground up. After years of listening and learning, I’m working my dream job for the biggest entertainment company in the world.

Working in corporate America for 3 years, I am living a life beyond what I imagined for myself, yet, I’m running into a different set of obstacles that affects not just me, but my best friends, their coworkers and women across America. Surprisingly in 2024, Gender disparity still exists at workplace, most in apparently as the Gender Wage Gap.

My dream now is to give young women the connection I was looking so desperately for at their age (and took years to find) and give them a leg up in ANY industry they want to enter.

And I need your help to do it.

I’m Gabi, pop culture, social media and storytelling expert based in New York City and I want to to tell YOUR STORY.

Support my initiative and be a part of Women@Work by telling YOUR story. I’m looking for doctors, lawyers, performing artists, S.T.E.M. workers, civil services leaders, entertainment, literally everything! I’ll interview YOU and write a portfolio piece featuring the advice you would give a student or young professional starting out in your industry. Think of it as a digital magazine full of profile after profile of experts in their field.
